Social Groups

Queer and Trans Social Night- second and fourth Wednesday evening from 6-9pm at The Tower, 281 Cannon St E.

Queer Pub Night- last Thursday of the month from 7pm onward at Gallagher’s Pub, 171 John St S.

Gay Men’s Coffee Group- every Tuesday from 7-9pm, open to all gay, bi, or queer men, cis or transgender. Williams Coffee, 41 Discovery Dr.

Kaleidoscope- LGBTQ social group held every Friday at NGen from 7-9pm, youth 15-25, 24 Main St W.

LGBTQ Social Nights at Routes- social nights first Thursday of every month from 5-7pm, for youth 14-19, 10 Market St S.

 

Support Groups

Transcend Group (for parents and youth)- monthly support meeting, held at the Hamilton-Wentworth School Board but open to all school-aged youth and their parents. RSVP to Darryl Byers at 289-237-8336 or dbyers@hwdsb.on.ca

PFLAG (for family members and friends of LGBTQ2S individuals)- meets the 1st Wednesday of every month, at First Unitarian Church 170 Dundurn St S.

 

Medical Support

Men4Men clinic- Sexual health clinic for cis and trans men who have sex with men, first Tuesday of every month from 5-8pm, The AIDS Network 140 King St E. Suite 101

Trans Community Health (16+)- a twice-monthly clinic for trans individuals who have no family doctor, or whose family doctor is not supportive. Dr. Callaghan will support trans clients at any stage of their journey, and can also assist in educating the patient’s family doctor around trans-specific health care. The AIDS Network HRT Kits- Hormone Replacement Therapy kits available in the harm reduction room 9am-5pm; contains instructions on how to inject and all supplies needed for 5 injections of hormones. 140 King St E., Suite 101
